Non-Fiction Friday is a link-up where you can find all of the awesome non-fiction happenings of the week. Be sure to link-up your non-fiction posts too!
- I’m so glad this professor is encouraging more people to write creative non-fiction (aka narrative non-fiction) because I want to read more
- Speaking of creative non-fiction, just the description of this book of essays on the topic raises some fascinating questions!
- I was surprised to see that tumblr has some pretty interesting non-fiction related content! Now if only I were better at using tumblr…
- This week, these are some of the exciting new releases:
- The Extreme Life of the Sea
- It’s Complicated: The Social Lives of Networked Teens
- Cured: How the Berlin Patients Defeated HIV and Forever Changed Medical Science
- Five Came Back: A Story of Hollywood and the Second World War
- Quantum Mechanics: The Theoretical Minimum
- Blood Royal: A True Tale of Crime and Detection in Medieval Paris

I just started my Tumblr, so I’m excited about that link. And I looooove narrative non-fiction.

I fail at tumblr, and I don’t even know how to navigate through that link you provided, haha. D:
Cured looks awesome! I’ve heard about Nathalia Holt’s research, and it seems to be a pretty controversial topic in the scientific community. Looking forward to reading this – thanks for sharing!

Hmm, today the posts that come up for non-fiction on tumblr seem to include a lot of people writing non-fiction posts themselves, so I think the way I linked might not have been the best way to do it anyway… I’m really not good at tumblr either!
I hadn’t heard about Nathalia Holt’s research, but I can’t believe I missed it! If it’s true, what a big deal! I’m excited to read more about it so I can form my own opinion on whether or not her research makes sense
