Bloggiesta – September 20-22
Bloggiesta is a larger version of the mini-bloggiesta that happened this summer, with more challenges, more giveaways, more twitter chats, and a lot more advice on ways to improve your blog. I’m hoping to host a challenge and will definitely be participating.
Trick or Treat Ninja Book Swap – October
The Trick or Treat book swap lets you either sign up to send and receive books from a wishlist or to send and receive a book in a genre you like plus a treat. I’m doing the second option and am excited to be surprised! I’m also excited about getting to send someone one of my favorite books. Sign ups end September 30th.
Dewey’s Read-a-thon – October 12th
The read-a-thon is a crazy 24 hour event with activities every hour. You’re able to jump in and read for as many or as few hours as you like. I’ll be both reading and cheerleading by commenting on a list of blogs the moderators will send out. Hopefully I’ll get a lot of reading done!

I’m really looking forward to Bloggiesta! I’ll only be able to really participate on Friday, but I plan on spending most of the day doing blog improvement.
Dewey’s read-a-thon sounds great (I’ve never participated), but I spend 11 hours at work on Saturdays, so I’ll have to miss it.

This will be my first Bloggiesta and I’m totally excited about it. My blog needs so much work right now. Hopefully knowing that I’m not alone will keep me motivated.

It always helps me hold myself to my to-do list once I’ve posted it and it really is encouraging to know other people are doing the same kind of things to get their blog into shape 🙂 I hope you get lots done and have a great time!
