- Get invited as a guest speaker for a bookrelated conference
- Do 10 new activities inspired by books
- Meet 20 authors

I love how you have made yours a running list! It took me (and Allison) a looooooong time to come up with all 50! And now that it has been a few months, I’m actually planning on writing up a recap post. Some of my goals have changed, some need to be edited, and some have been achieved or close to it. But the majority will take me many more years to complete!
Good luck!!!
Thanks! I think it will be nice to add updated follower goals as the blog gets older or things like your goals for stamping books as I develop new bookish interests
I think writing these goals down was a really fun idea (especially for someone like me who loves lists) and am glad you don’t mind other people replicating it. Good luck with your goals too!
I love that people like the idea, and honestly, as long as Allison & I get a little shoutout for coming up with it (like how you used the logo and linked up) then it’s fabulous!
I just added a Mr. Linky to the 50 Bookish Things page, so I’d love for you to head over and link up here!
I have added my link
Thanks Rebecca!
Woo hoo!!!!
Great start! Like Rebecca said, it took us foreeever to come up with them! Be sure to link it up on my page, too, so that you can get double the clicks!
Thanks Allison
I’m adding it now.
If recommend taking part in Dewey’s 24 hour Readathon. the next one is in October. it’s a great way to read about other book lovers, read for a day & you could even co-host a mini Challenge. this would be a good first step to hosting your own chats & stuff. http://www.24hrreadathon.com or something like that.
Thanks Sharlene! I was planning on participating in the read-a-thon, but hadn’t thought about hosting a mini-challenge. I think it’s a great idea and I’ll keep an eye out for sign-ups
Love your 50 Bookish Things Bucket List!
Thanks! I’d like to do more actively working towards the goals on it, but it’s a good start to have them written down
AGREED!
Your list gave me some good ideas. I like the making business card ones and making it a goal to meet a certain number of authors. Good luck with your bucket list!
Thanks Jessica! I’ve just recently made business cards, which made me feel excitingly professional, and I’ve had a good time meeting some authors too
This sounds like a fun bucket list! Good luck with it! #SITSblogging love
Katie @ Addicted 2 DIY recently posted…Thursday S.T.Y.L.E. Link Party #7
Thanks Katie!
This is such a neat list! Meeting that many authors would be amazing. Before I had kids, I worked at a library…your blog reminds me of all the reading I used to do! So cool.
Thanks Julie! I’ve been surprised by how many opportunities I’ve had to meet authors since I started looking. Although there are very few who actually come to Ithaca, I live within driving distance of Rochester, Syracuse, NYC, Philadelphia, and Oblong Books in Millterton which have all turned out to be great places to see authors – as long as they’re someone I’m excited enough about to do a long drive for
