Nonfiction Friday is a link-up where you can find all of the awesome nonfiction happenings of the week.
- This week, I mostly have some last best of 2020 lists and some lists of what to look forward to in 2021. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety I found on best nonfiction of 2020 lists. These included
- a list from Well+Good with a focus on self-help, plus some interesting books on race
- a list from Forbes that did seem particularly thoughtful
- a list from the Virginia-Pilot with some great categories
- and lists from both Canada (CBC) and the UK (The Independent)
- There are also two lists of upcoming books I’m excited about. I think the AARP has a great list (not sure what this says about my reading taste!) and this list of most anticipated books includes a lot of upcoming nonfiction from very well known authors.
- I’ve been wanting to read more books by people of color on other topics in addition to those on race. This list of investigative nonfiction by authors of color includes several books that would fit the bill.
- And this podcast on ‘creative nonfiction in the era of fake news‘ sounds interesting, although I must admit that it’s still on my to-listen list.
- New nonfiction to look forward to next week includes:

This is excellent! I always try to do something nonfiction on Fridays over at my site too so I will look forward to linking up and seeing what everyone else is reading!
