Happy holidays everyone! Even though we’re not getting winter weather here in sunny California (and I’m not missing it!), I am enjoying getting into the holiday spirit. This past month, I loved having friends over for Thanksgiving; cuddling up with warm drinks and good books; and reading lots of nonfiction for Nonfiction November. And in the coming month, I’m excited to take some time to read my own books while visiting family. Here’s what I’m looking back on in November and what I’m looking forward too this month…
Books Read
I really enjoyed getting to a lot of nonfiction this month! It’s been fun to get back to randomly browsing at the library to pick up books in Dewey Decimal numbers I’ve not visited yet.
- Hammer Head
- Code Girls
- Push Girl
- Counting Backwards
- This Mortal Coil
- Life in Code
- Artemis
- Birding Without Borders
- The Futilitarians
- Empress of the East
- Careers for Women
- The Radium Girls

My most viewed post this past month was the Nonfiction November – Nonfiction Favorites discussion prompt I hosted. Thank you all for making this such a great event! I’m still going through everyone’s posts, but I’ve already discovered some new blogs I think are going to be favorites of mine.

I’m really excited to participated in the #AMonthOfFaves event, hosted by Tamara at Travelling with T, Andi at Estella’s Revenge, and Tanya at GirlXOXO. It seems like a fun way to talk about some personal things in addition to books this month. I also might join in on the Baby It’s Cold Outside Read-a-thon, hosted by Octavia at Read.Sleep.Repeat, but I’m not sure yet if I’m feeling that ambitious!

How was your November? And what are you looking forward to in December?
