September Wrap-Up

October 1, 2017 Uncategorized 2

Despite some international travel (post to come later) and the usual life things, I’m excited to still have been doing a lot of reading and blogging this past month. I’m also still planning my reading for each month in advance. That makes me feel like I’m really reading the books I most want to read and gives me a lot to look forward to in the month ahead. I’m using the library more too, to get the specific books I want, and I’m happy to be back in the library more often.

Books Read

Wow, another month with 13 books! Once again, I had a few short reads and I also fit in a bunch of my reading on long flights.

Top Post

Last month, my top post was one of my Nonfiction Friday posts. I’ve been having a lot of fun getting into to doing these more regularly. The post that got the most views was actually my 81st Nonfiction Friday! Thanks so much to everyone who has been sharing these posts on twitter or just stopping by 🙂

October includes one of my favorite blogging events ever – Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon! Don’t forget to sign-up. I’m also hoping to actually do my reading for RIP XII and I’m signing up for the #FrightFall Read-a-thon. For both, I’ll be trying to read 4 scary books in October.

Did you have a good September? And are there any bookish events you’re looking forward to next month?

I’ve tried pre-deciding my reading before and found it didn’t work for me. I’m not sure why it’s going differently this time!
