#NFBookClub The Reason I Jump Read-Along and May Poll

April 2, 2016 Uncategorized 5

Happy April everyone! It’s time to start our April read-along of The Reason I Jump. I’m particularly excited to be reading this book because I feel as though I’ve read a lot of fiction including characters with Autism, but am sadly undereducated on the accuracy of these fictional accounts. Thanks again to Rachel at Hibernator’s Library for the suggestion that we pick a book on autism for Autism Awareness Month and thank you all for suggesting some great possibilities. When you’re ready to jump into the discussion, the google doc is open. Here is our schedule for the month and a poll for next month’s pick:

April 1st-14th: Read Intro – Never Ending Summer

April 10th – Intro – Never Ending Summer Discussion Questions Posted

April 15th-31st – Read A Story I Heard Somewhere – I’m Right Here

April 22nd – A Story I Heard Somewhere – I’m Right Here Discussion Questions Posted

I do think you’re the reason I’ve heard of The Age of Wonder and you might have suggested Just Mercy too 🙂 I think they both sound great!

I hope you all enjoy The reason I jump. I’ll watch the discussion since I’ve already read it. Just Mercy and Age of Wonder both look fantastic, but I’m hoping for the first.
