I actually thought Michio Kaku’s The Future of the Mind was a neuroscience book, but I must’ve unconsciously ignored the mentions of physics in the synopsis!

I actually just finished a book by Michio Kaku, whose great books on the topic are a big part of why I got interested. I think The Sugar Season looks like it could be a great microhistory. I also thought the list needed a happier, lighter book so it was perfect :)

I’m terrified of the word “quantum” and basically anything about quantum physics, quantum theory, etc., and quantum cats is no different. I’m intrigued, but I’ll probably never read that book. But The Sugar Season sounds really good (says the Canadian in me) and I’d love to have a name like Whynott. Great links again this week – thanks for sharing!
