I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes the applied science thing! As someone who works in the sciences, I’m always a bit worried that my opinion on science books might not be as generally helpful as I’d like. I work on something that might within my lifetime lead to medical advancements, but right now it has a long, long way to go. I think that’s true about a lot of research people do, so reading about someone doing science and then immediately applying it was very cool!
