		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m really happy I tried it! And honestly, while the columns I&#039;d read alone were clearly well written, they were a bit too shocking for me to want to run out and read more so if it weren&#039;t for your review, I don&#039;t think I&#039;d have read this one :)

I&#039;m glad I&#039;m not the only one who likes the applied science thing! As someone who works in the sciences, I&#039;m always a bit worried that my opinion on science books might not be as generally helpful as I&#039;d like. I work on something that might within my lifetime lead to medical advancements, but right now it has a long, long way to go. I think that&#039;s true about a lot of research people do, so reading about someone doing science and then immediately applying it was very cool!]]></description>
