It’s hard to put into words your thoughts when they are so mixed, but I think you did a pretty remarkable job at managing a very balanced review. I totally see where you’re coming from with your criticisms and I’m pretty sure I would feel the same way… but otherwise, this sounds good! I hadn’t heard of it before now.

I’m glad you thought it was a balanced review I thought the narrator’s voice worked for Michael too. I did think sometimes it was like he stopped concentrating and he trailed off into his own voice the toward the end of something a woman was saying, but it didn’t bother me that much. Thanks for hosting the tour!

I think you pointed out the positives and negatives really well. I also liked that we got some history on Michael and that there was an explanation for why he was so good in some of these situations. If there hadn’t been I wouldn’t have been able to believe it. I also really liked the twists, I really didn’t see them coming AT ALL. The narrator didn’t bother me with the women’s voices, I didn’t notice anything at all on that regards and almost want to listen again and see. I felt like he fit Michael’s ‘voice’ well and the story as well.
