Bout of Books Check-Up

August 20, 2013 Blogger Events 13

BoB8.0-200x200This week I’m participating in the Bout of Books read-a-thon. My goal is to read more than usual, mostly by eliminating the TV watching I do. I’m also actually looking forward to a 4.5 hour bus ride I’m taking into NYC this weekend (and the 4.5 hours back!) as a prefect time to fit in some extra reading. In the meantime, I’ll be up-dating this post every day with my the amount of reading I managed to fit in the day before. I hope everyone else participating is having a lot of fun and making great progress on their goals 🙂

Woohoo, 380 pages is a lot for one day, congrats! Dang, I really wish I had more time to read… actually I’ll be going on a bit of a road trip soon (not quite 4.5 hours long, but maybe 2), so hopefully I could fit in some reading then. Good luck to you, Katie!!

Thanks Aylee! The Dashwood Sisters’ Secrets of Love had large print and small pages, as well as being a pretty easy read so I really just flew through it 🙂

Wow, that’s huge progress you made yesterday! I can only imagine how much reading you’ll get done on that 4.5 hour bus ride!

Thanks Asti 🙂 I’m starting to think about what I’m going to read on the bus and I think I’ll probably want to get some things on my kindle – 9 hours of reading material (round trip) could be pretty heavy!

Great goal – maybe I should get off the computer and read more! 😉 I will have to check out the Dashwood Sisters Secret of Love – sounds good!
