Mini Bloggiesta Begins!

Today is the first day of a mini Bloggiesta! This a shorter version of the twice yearly bloggiesta and is all about sprucing up your blog while interacting with other awesome bloggers. I’ve got lots of things I want to get done this weekend and can’t wait to get started 🙂 Here’s my current to-do list:

  • add all book reviews to goodreads and librarything
  • get reviews from Doing Dewey posted to Cannonball Read V  (done through end of July)
  • add completed reviews to challenge link-ups
  • comment on reviews for book-to-movie challenge
  • participate in commenting and networking bloggeista mini-challenge
  • get one monday musing and three review posts scheduled
  • revisit old posts and make sure I’m hosting my own pics and that they are categorized correctly

Probably overly ambitious, but at least it gives me a lot of things to choose from! Are you participating in Bloggeista? And is this the first time you have?

I saw the Mini Bloggiesta dates at the last minute on Twitter and joined in, but I’m not getting much accomplished. I did the two things on my list that took the least amount of time! I like your Bloggiesta graphic!

I’ve not gotten much done either, but I think I’ll use this as a to-do list for a while yet, so it was definitely useful 🙂 The picture is actually from the bloggeista starting post but the only credit was the signature so I’m not sure who’s responsible for that awesomeness but I liked it too!

It’s just so time consuming to cross list every post! I’ve been pretty good about goodreads and librarything lately, but have just been awful at posting to challenge link-ups. I hope you had a great bloggiesta!

It is very time consuming and part of the reason why I’ve fallen so behind on it. I’d rather read or do newer things that go back and do those cross posts. Thanks, I did have a great Bloggiesta.

That’s a great list. This is my first Bloggiesta, mini or otherwise. I don’t think I’m going to get everything done (although weekends honestly aren’t the best time for me to be productive… what I don’t do today I hope to finish tomorrow). Good luck with your goals!

Thanks! I definitely didn’t get everything done this weekend, but I’ll also keep working on the list today 🙂 Good luck with your goals too!

Well, this one is a mini bloggeista so just one twitter chat and a weekend of working on blogging goals together – things like writing posts, but also up-dating directories, improving SEO, etc. The main, twice yearly bloggeista is a week long, involves more twitter chats, and also generally has bloggers doing giveaways for competitions that help you improve your blog 🙂

Alas, I don’t twitter and so that counts me out. As weekend is my normal time already for updating pages and responding to posts, this part would work well. Maybe someday, but for now I guess I’ll just keep doing memes. All the best in your participation!

Fortunately, the twitter chat is not a requirement, so you could still get involved in the next bloggiesta if you want 🙂 I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I like twitter though, so if you happen to have the time to invest in another social media site, I’d recommend it.

Nice! I feel like the biggest blogging time commitments for me are writing posts, commenting, reading books, and the little administrative things and lately it’s definitely writing posts and administrative things that need the most work so I think making the to-do list will help me get back on top of those 🙂
