I have only seen the first series. It was on for a while here in Aust but disappeared mid season 2. It's very much aimed at the teenage audience, mainly I watched it to drool over Ian Somerhalder LOL

I have, although only the first episode. Unfortunately, it didn't look like it was going to stay very true to the book and it wasn't good enough for me to give it a try anyway! If you'd recommend it though, I'm willing to admit I didn't give it much of a chance and perhaps try it again :)

Thanks for hosting the challenge and for stopping by! A big reason I started reading through the Dewey Decimal system was to read books I wouldn't otherwise, and I love that your challenge gets me to do that too.

Thanks for the review(s) I really can't bring myself to read any of these new vampire novels (just keep going back to Poppy Z Brite and Anne Rice, however, your take on the Vampire Diaries makes me at least interested. I will also keep my eye out for Cinder - sounds like a good little read. Thanks again - Dr Dalim
