Flash Nonfiction Book Club Vote

December 31, 2016 Uncategorized 8

Last post today, I promise! I’ve yet to pick a January Nonfiction Book Club read, so we’re going to have a quick vote over the next 48 hours. If you want to help pick what we read, be sure to vote!

    Hallo, Hallo Katie!

I voted for the Oregon Trail book as going West has not only inspired my readerly choices over the years but the prospect of exchanging one Coast for another always fascinated me! I love the bravery of the people who took the trail and the pioneers who forged a different life ‘elsewhere’ from all they previously had known. I also technically voted for the easiest book to borrow from my library, however, most of the others are available via ILL; *fingers crossed* the top pick will be one I can read along with you this month! Otherwise, will try again in February! I tweeted out a note about why I’ve lost track of #NFBookClub. What a year! *whew!* a bit happy to ring in a new chapter and begin anew with the hope of what tomorrow shall bring!

Hope you’ve been well. Til soon! As I’ll be linking more Non-Fiction reviews this year, as I’m reading quite the stack! Thanks for being the encouraging voice who gave me licence to dig into NonFict in the first place! May your New Year’s have been full of light, hope, love and joy!

I think I still may not have replied to your tweet and if so, I apologize! No worries on losing track of the book club. I’d like to get better at keeping up with it myself! I was briefly over a week ahead on blog posts and I’d love to get back to that point. Hopefully the new year will go well for both of us 🙂 I’m so excited you’re reading and enjoying nonfiction and I can’t wait to hear about anymore you pick up! May your New Year’s have been wonderful too!

Alright – I changed my vote to Delusions of Gender, which is easier to get. So I totally voted twice, by the way. You can subtract one vote for Oregon trail if that’s possible.
